A thoroughly enjoyable experience!
Everything about my stay at this hotel was first class! The resort itself is beautiful, as an “architecture guy” I was impressed by the contemporary style of the resort, but happy that you still felt like you were in Mexico with red tile roofs, large pillars, etc. The hotel is built down a hill and the views are of the Sea are incredible. Room was very comfortable with a nice balcony overlooking the Sea. Very comfortable bed, large flat panel TV and lots of nice touches. The grounds are immaculate with a tropical garden feel. Plenty of space around the many pools to stretch out and relax and you never feel crowded. I was in the private club area which has a nice continental breakfast in the morning and drinks and snacks in the evening (included!). The attendant was great and always offered to help with plans, local advice, etc. One morning I had the big breakfast buffet in the main restaurant which was incredible. Dinner in the high end Rosato Restaurant was a great experience, too. The hotel has a new spa with a “wine-theme,” very unique and top quality. One of the nicest spas I’ve experienced! The nearby Cabo del Sol golf complex is incredible (definitely the best in the area) and all of the fun of Cabo San Lucas is just a few minutes away. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a great resort in a fun and lively destination! Kerri from Iowa

Classy and Roomy
My husband and I met friends in Cabo. We had the opportunity to stay at Villa Del Arco this past year and were curious about Villa Estancia for the fall. the rooms were very classy, huge in general and everything you need is right there. The staff was very helpful and immediately responsive to anything needed. The restaurant in the hotel was first class, some of the best food we’ve had. We caught fish one morning and the hotel chef did a great job of cooking it up in a variety of ways for an outstanding dinner.
Traveler’s tip on saving a few bucks
Everything you need is in the little store on the property. It beat grabbing a cab to Costo for waters/beer/wine and had most everything you could think you needed.

Great Resort Group!
When traveling with a family or a large group, this is a great choice. Access to local “family oriented” hotel next door with options for all ages. If you prefer quite, Estancia is just that. Relaxing with all the comforts of home! The concierge was very helpful and we look forward to coming back again. Rooms are spacious and beautiful. Only complaint is that the beds are alittle hard.
Great opportunity to save $ by utilizing the in room kitchen. We had breakfast in the room every day!

Beautiful hotel on gorgeous beach
The Pubelo Bonito Pacifica is part of a 4000 acre development with the Pacifica Sunset sitting up higher on the hill next to fractional ownership houses. The Pacifica is right on the beach, and will be next to the Ritz Carlton and Jack Niclaus golf course once they’re built. The hotel is beautiful and extremely peaceful. The service was top notch from the beginning. Although you can’t swim in the water, the beach is idyllic and couples often go hang out there for the sunset and to watch the enormous waves crash in front of them. The food was also great. We dined at the restaurant for breakfast - very reasonable - and ate most of our other meals at the poolside grill where they served delicious fresh foods. The drinks were a bit expensive, but all in all not that bad. We highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway. Dallas TX

Great location, beautiful beach, an almost-great hotel
Location is great. It’s an easy walk or inexpensive cab ride to Cabo’s marina and good local restaurants. The hotel has a wide sunbathing beach, but swimming is not allowed like most of Cabo. The overall architecture and pools are beautiful. Lunch at the pool restaurant is good with great salads. The Galeon and Japanese restaurants (owned by hotel but off the property) are great. But avoid the SolMar restaurant. Fitness center charges $10 a day or $40 a week- should be included! Nice spa. This could be a five-star hotel with some changes: better maintenance of grounds and a higher level of professionalism for hotel staff. I.e., lobby fountain no longer has water and four tiny plants were stuck in it. Koi pond has peeling paint, etc. Staff uniforms are not professional– one young lady had her belly showing! And finally, avoid the sales people who descend on you to sell time shares — but that’s everywhere in Mexico. Virgina

Great Getaway!!
I love ME Cabo! My husband & I took our anniversary trip to Cabo San Lucas and stayed at ME Cabo, we had no one problem. The staff was great, they give you your own personal assisant and you can call him or her at anytime and they will bring or fix anything you need. We loved the hotel! NIkki Beach it wonderful, there are Mexican merchants on the beach but they were not too bothersome. Great trip we like how there were not any children at the hotel. This hotel is not kid freiendly which is one of the nice things about ME Cabo, we wanted to get away from our own daily livfe of taking care of children.

Gorgeous Hotel
My fiance and I spent two beautiful weeks at this resort. The grounds are well kept, the staff is very welcoming and friendly and the views are just amazing. The overall atmosphere of the resort is very peaceful and relaxing. The food can be a little pricey at the resort but treat yourself at least to one dinner at La Frida, you won’t regret it. The service is amazing and the food is even better. Breathtaking views and sunsets made the sky pool our favorite place to relax and unwind. I honestly do not have one bad thing to say about this place. I would recommend it in a heartbeat.
Traveler’s tip on saving a few bucks
Buying drinks, snacks and other light food at walmart or the the deli, will definitely save you quite a few bucks. Also, take the free shuttle to the sister resort and walk into town. Trying some of the local restaurants will also save you some money. Las Gardenias is just a few blocks from the sister resort and serves really good fish tacos

Fantastic, only a couple of hiccups.
There are only a couple of negative things. If you are going when it is super hot outside, you will get little to no releif from the pools because the water temperature is close to 95 degrees. Also, if you are a person that likes to tip, you better take PLENTY of $1 bills because you will not find them there. They believe in large bills for change because they want larger tips. We tried to explain to the hotel that their employees would actually make more money because people would tip more often, but it fell on deaf ears. It was amazing to me that even in the nicer restaurants, people weren’t tipping at all…but they didn’t have change! But aside from those things, the resort was beautiful, clean, the staff was helpful & friendly, the room & the view was breath taking. If you want to swim in the sea, you can’t here. You can walk about a mile to an area where you can swim, though.
Traveler’s tip
Beware of the creeps at the airport trying to sell you packages. There are people at the hotel that will give you the same deals & you can trust them because you will see them everyday. Actually we had a miscommunication with one of our packages & even though they were non-refundable, they finally (of course after nearly 2 hours of discussion) did give us back our money. That could never have happened with the scam guys at the airport.

Great Resort, Cant wait to back
My wife and I loved this resort. Free food, free drinks, and terrific maid service. The maid would visit our room at least three times a day to clean and to keep our fridge stocked with water and beer. There were five different restaurants at the resort and the food was excellent. The view from the pool was breathtaking, with a perfect view of “Lovers Beach”. The location of Riu Palace was great because it is right in the middle of the attractions. A short cab ride north would take you to down town Cabo and the marina, and a short cab ride south would take you to Costa Azul surf shop were you can rent a surf board and surf right out front.
Traveler’s tip on local attractions
Giggling Marlin was a blast!! You gotta check out Cabo Wabo. If you want to surf than you need to go to Costa Azul surf shop. However the most important activity in my opinion was the sunset cruise. It does not matter what boat you take, cruising by the famous arch watching the sunset is priceless!!! LA California

Amazing Hotel and Amazing Room
Casa Dorada was completely amazing. The only downside was a small amount of construction going on by the pool. The hotel is brand new so we expected a little bit of construction - this did not bother us. Our room was fantastic and huge (1 bedroom suite about 1200 square feet with two balconies). The staff were wonderful and our room was always clean. Would go back in a heart beat!

Have dinner at Fellini’s at the Pueblo Bonito Rose. Not many people will tell you about it, but it is the best food in Cabo with the best service!

Mexican ambience fused with contemporary chic
This 237-suite hotel is located on a narrow stretch of sunning beach, 30 minutes from Cabo San Lucas and between two golf courses—one designed by Jack Nicklaus.
It has been a pleasure being at that hotel.
We went to Cabos San Lucas to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. When we arrive at the hotel they gave us a fruit juice to welcome us at the registration desk and i was astonished with the lobby and its surrounding. the registration took long , but it was worth it because they told us that they decided because it was our anniversary to upgrade us. And they gave us a beautiful casita and that was not all. when we arrive at the casita there was a cake that had written Happy Aniversary and a postcard. the casita was decorated with roses and in the bathroom there was two big swam kissing elaborated made with towels. All the hotel staff are very friendly and the hospitality its out of this world. the lady that cleans the room came twice a day. and in the evening she prepares us the jacuzzi. the pools have excellent temperature and the view of the ocean is superb. The only problem is the sun , the temperature was 95 degree F and there is no shadow to cover. i would recommend the hotel to put some umbrellas inside the pool. The restaurants serves excellent and plenty food. Do not miss the buffet ,they are excellent. As a conclusion this hotel was excellent and i travel all over the world. No wonder its consider to be among the leading hotels of the world. Its hospitality pampers you all the way! Thank you Marquis Cabo for the wonderful trip!
Traveler’s tip on getting the most out of your stay
There is a vendor that is on the beach that have jewels at a very good price:ask for a good discount. Go to eat at the office, which is a very casual and folkloric; the tables are in the sand . so go with some shoes that can go in the sand.) Rent a car for two days is worth it, and you could visit the two city, and its surrounding in two days. There is a shuttle bus $ 25.00 that takes you to the hotel or a private taxi for $65.00

We enjoyed our 6-day stay at the Westin. It did take a while for us to be checked in to the room and maid service didn’t have great attention to some details. However, the overall guest service and comfort of the hotel were excellent. We had an amazing view from our room on the 6th floor. Food and drinks are very pricey as expected, but the food at the Asian Corner, La Playa and El Ciruelo is great. Two of the pools were being renovated during our stay. The beach is too rough to swim, but the rocky beach is a nice view. You can take the shuttle down to El Medano and Lover’s Beach to swim.

The hotel was absolutely gorgeous. My brother was getting married at Las Ventanas and this was an inexpesive alternative to staying there. The hotel was immaculate, the staff could not have been friendlier, the rooms were beautiful, and the food was delicious. I agree with everyone else that breakfast was a little pricey, but the rest of the meals were priced well. I can not wait to go back for our next vacation. Long Island NY

Exceptional Luxury and Quality
We had such a wonderful time! We cannot say how pleased we were with the outstanding service and the luxury and beauty of our spotless penthouse suite. The grounds are impecibly clean and well cared for and the design is breathtaking. Service was outstanding and the spa was a must for all who want pampering at its best. Cabo Azul is a must see luxury resort and destination vacation place. We would highly recommend it to all who want a high end experience in an atmosphere that is warm and welcoming. The service by all who worked there was simply the best. Everywhere we went we were surrounded by the breathtaking beauty and charm of this outstanding resort right on the ocean. We loved every minute of our holiday and look forward to a return trip. Our three bedroom penthouse grand suite was worth every penny. Room service was outstanding and we loved having dinner catered in our room while we opened our sliding doors and watched the sunset on the shore and listened to the crashing waves. It was devine!!!

Perfect Place to Stay, You will love it.
We stayed for 4 nights in an oceanfront room. Everything about the hotel was perfect. Exquisite ocean views. Wonderful restaurants. Although the hotel is a destination in itself, we did take easy cab rides to both San Jose de Cabo, and to Cabo San Lucas for sighseeing and for some meals. Highly recommend seeing both cities. Take a sunset cruise (cocktail and hors d’oevres) to see Los Arcos up close.

Casa Del Mar
Casa Del Mar service was excellent. Rooms were very clean and views were great. If you want to go to Cabos to swim, find another hotel outside of the corridor. Too rough to swim for even the most experienced swimmers. We were not told the main pool was closed 3 weeks for renovation until we arrived. Poor communications here as we called numerous times to check on other ammenities. They did provide some refund but that was not the point. As with most of Cabo area, very expensive compared to other areas of Mexico.

Dont take any taxis. They will rip you off. $20-$25 to go either 5 minutes or 20 minutes. Rent a car for under $50 per day and make as many stops as you’d like.

What a Value!
This resort was amazing! My husband and I spent our honeymoon here, and we couldn’t have been happier. The staff was all extremely helpful and friendly, and what we received was well worth the price. The fact that this was an all inclusive was great. We didn’t have to worry about finding places for dinner and drinks. We read other reviews that said the food was not very good, but our experience was phenominal. We were hoping there would be more local cuisine, as Mexican food is one of our favorites, but we were still delighted with the variety and tastefulness of what they offered. Our room often had little touches from our maid, from fresh flowers on the bed to folded towels shaped like animals. Our mini fridge was always stocked. The views were amazing, and the area felt safe and comfortable. Since we were on our honeymoon, we didn’t participate in too many of the events and activities at the hotel, but everyone seemed to be having a great time, and it was very relaxed. There wasn’t pressure to participate in anything that we weren’t comfortable with. We’ve never attended a resort like this before, such as Hedo. Without anything to compare it to, it still just seemed very relaxed and nuetral. We hope to go back again next year on our anniversary but in the meantime, we made a lot of excellent memories that we will cherish forever. UT
Couldn’t really enjoy this place
Mainly we wouldn’t recommend this hotel to others because of the concept of no clothes required at the pool. We felt very uncomfortable trying to go and use the pool and most all of our friends would have the same reservations about this. I didn’t realize that this would be the case at this hotel. (Must have not paid close enough attention.) The hotel was nice and comfortable, though the food in the 2 restaurants was not always that great.
