When we think of wedding design, sometimes we think of those plush wedding magazines, and weddings books at Barnes and Noble. In the
OK now that you are looking for a Los Cabos Wedding planner or wedding designer, for your destination wedding. It’s important to learn as much as you can about the wedding planner. For your own peace of mind. To create you’re perfect and personal wedding and for cost-saving know-how, wedding planners or wedding designers can make your event worry-free, perfectly unique and utterly gorgeous. A good designer will save you time and enable you to get the most for your money. I believe trust and chemistry is the key. Make sure she or he understand exactly what you want and does not try to put you in a box. Some great Los Cabos wedding planners Alec & I work with and recommend are.

I’m very much for tradition, I love it! Like the classic wedding cake, and your father giving his permission, when the minister says who gives this woman to this man. It’s classic and sentimental. However, more than tradition I like to break the rules. I love the non tradition wedding toast of the bride and groom getting up first and take center stage. When the wedding toast, is tequila instead of champagne. Great idea for

John Fagan is a minister in Cabos San Lucas Mexico.Every one calls him PJ its short for (Padre Juan) Alec and I met PJ through Baja Weddings a great coordination company we work with in town which is owned by Coleen Fagan. I asked PJ to sit down with me and talk about weddings in Los Cabos, he agreed. Alec really gets a kick out of him. He has a very dry quick sense of humor and gets right to the point. No easing into a conversation, or dancing around the subject, any subject .PJ is a no BS type of guy, but at the same time he is extremely genuine and honest. I really, really like that about him. He s been in Los Cabos for over 12 years and knows the town very well, and understands the way the wedding business works in Cabo. I asked him if he had any suggestions for brides and grooms planning a destination wedding to Cabo San Lucas, and he said yes..Get legally married at home and have symbolic ceremony here in Los Cabos…He promises to keep it a secret..no body will know its not the real thing!!!

Destination Wedding Invitation Etiquette
Are you planning a

When making your wedding guest list, check with family and friends, and find out if they plan to attend. If they wish to attend, you should make arrangements for out-of-town guests before you send your destination weddings invitations.
You will need to include for your wedding guests the Mexico resort/ hotel information, maps and even activities and events around the area. All of this information should be sent with the destination weddings invitations. In lieu of that, many brides and grooms create a web site with this information and put the URL on the destination weddings invitations.
You should have all of this information researched, compiled and sent to guests so you don’t have to do it when they get to town. Your guests will know that you appreciate that they have traveled so far for your special day. And you will be able to relax a bit knowing it’s out of your hands

The first time I met Elsa, I could think of two things wow what a beautiful french girl and then wow that girl really seems on top of everything. We had worked together for several hours, she was doing a villa spa set up for a manicure and pedicure session, plus a romantic couples massage on the beach. Alec and I were doing the photography and video that day. She came with Suzanne and they transformed a villa into a a beautiful spa setting, plus the beach with two massage tables..this was not your ordinary set up this was detailed to the max with candles and rose petals and chiffon fabric sea shells, really amazing. They also had a great staff. I will put some photos below.
Back to Elsa, Alec and I have gotten to know her, and we really think she is beyond wonderful. Smart, Kind,Strong. What a combination. So when we heard the news that Suzanne from Suzanne Morel face and body care located in Los Cabos Mexico made her a partner. Alec & I were not the least bit surprised. Elsa was been in Los Cabos for many years working within the wedding industry, but found her match when she started with Suzanne. They make a great team! Congratulations Elsa!!!!!

Los Cabos Minister Marco
Alec and I met Marco when we first started shooting weddings in Los Cabos almost 2 years ago. I caught myself caught up in one of his ceremonies, I was really laughing out loud and the energy from the wedding guests was unlike any other wedding I had seen. He made our weddings ceremony photos a breeze. He brings life to every ceremony, it’s truly a gift. Alec and I are all about bringing life, energy, and passion to our wedding photos, sometimes its hard not to catch wedding guests half sleeping. I know you’ve been to those weddings. When you feel like your getting a lesson from the Priest or Minister, or they are completely serious with zero sense of humor, and all you can think about is getting to the reception.. I can promise you this Marco will keep you awake, his delivery is awesome. I heard he just won wedding Minister of the year! And will be receiving an award in Las Vegas this summer. Congratulations Marco!! T

When ever Alec and I are planning wedding photography time lines, I need to know the exact Sunset time, on a particular wedding day.In order to plan for that amazing golden light that Cabo San Lucas has to offer, I work with planners to get the ceremony time just right, so we have it perfect for those amazing couple shots. I found this very cool link that I wanted to share. http://www.sunrisesunset.com/calendar.asp
This wedding photo was taken at the Sunset DA Mona Lisa in Los Cabos, just before sunset.

Wedding Photography Tips for the Bride and Groom
This is just a few wedding photography tips that will really help your photographer. Alec & I.( Alec & T. Photography) Remind our brides to, think about your walk…When you walk down the isle, Let everyone get a good look at you, don’t run, walk slowly let your father take you with pride, and please don’t look down the entire time, sometimes the sun is bright and its hard to look up but at least look forward not down.. these photos are incredible. We want to see your eyes and your dress and your hair, not the top of your head. Everyone wants to take you in, act like as if you’re on the red carpet! You may actually be. This gives the photographer the chance to get emotional close ups of you and your Father, we also will capture the grooms reaction. When entering your reception for the first time as man and wife, think of something fun dance your way in or take several bows anything but walk and sit, take your time you are the star. Make a grand entrance.

Los Cabos Mexico, is a perfect destination for a wedding. That of course is my opinion. Why I came to this conclusion.
Alec and I Alec & T. Photography have been shooting destination weddings for many years. And I must say legally not on tourist Visas. Alec is a Mexican And I work with a FM2. We have shot many weddings all over Mexico Cancun, Los Cabos, Mexico City, Playa Del Carmen, Cuernavaca. When, we decided to move to Mexico, we looked into many things and this is why we came up with Los Cabos.
Please visit Alec & T. Website
* .Location, Location, Its a hop skip and jump to our Los Angele’s Studio. Cabo has many flights a day to the USA.Your wedding guests will have no problems with flights in and out!
* Weather, perfect weather a bit hot in August and Sept, but other wise very little humidity, and beautiful Cabos San Lucas nights.you can almost guarantee your wedding day will be sunny and warm!!
* Safety , Los Cabos is very much of an island and is very safe.Your not asking your wedding guests to an unsafe area.
* Not a lot of bugs..this one was for me pretty big I hate mosquito’s, and they love me in Cancun.
* The resorts and hotels are beautiful and very clean, as is Los Cabos. You can still see the beach as you drive.
* Los Cabos has a very quaint feeling, it’s not overly built with hotels and resorts! I love the feeling.
* You have many wedding locations to choose from, Hotel Resorts Villas, Restaurants.

Wedding budgets, how to budget your destination wedding and
have your dream Los Cabos Wedding
Visit Alec & T.Photography website

I found this wedding budget below ( putting everything in percentages) on the knots’ website and I have to say, I completely disagree with doing your wedding budget this way. What ever happened to what’s important to you?? Here is an Idea…
#1. Figure out out how much money you want/can spend on your wedding?
#2. decide what are the most important things to you? Wedding photography , Wedding Venue ( location) flowers, music. Prioritize by importance to you!
#3.Then work everything else around (what’s important to you)
Maybe you need to cut your wedding guest list? Or maybe you want 300 people, and you have to change your venue to be somewhere less expensive? Maybe you want a huge diamond and will be happy getting married the two of you on the beach? Maybe you want the best photographer, and you use candles instead of flowers? It’s your wedding don’t worry about making everything fit. Work around the things that mean the most to you. Design your own budget percentage. Try not to follow the cookie cutter wedding guides that put your wedding in a generic box. dare to be different.T
THIS IS A SURE WAY TO PUT YOUR WEDDING IN A BOX!! Follow the breakdown below
Knot Note: The average cost for a 150-person wedding is about $25,000 (higher in urban areas).
This is way off if you ask me….

When Alec and I got married I wanted a orchestra…I wanted everything upscale… But I really wanted an orchestra for our first dance! I got my orchestra and it was amazing. How? I opted for a small wedding of 80 instead of the 300 we had planned on at first, I didn’t go crazy on flowers in the church,or spend a fortune on the rehearsal dinner. It was a great choice, everything was upscale and wonderful.

Blossom Art is Located in Cabo San Lucas and specializes in flowers for upscale weddings and events. Alejandra Gomez in the owner and designer, Carlos Paredes is in charge of events and weddings coordination. I had been asking around town about wedding flowers not just any flowers but wedding flowers with a creative design and flair. The name Blossom Art came up more than once so I decided to check them out.
When I walked into to Blossom Art in Los Cabos I was very impressed! I loved the store, It reminded me of a Flower Boutique that I love, in the trendy Melrose part of Los Angles. I’ve always loved walking into flower shops and getting ideas for my house.. I’m a true girly girl.. The way the store was set up, I knew I had found a great flower option in Cabo San Lucas. I met Alejandra and she was very warm and friendly and busy!! That’s a good sign. Visit Alec & T. Photography Website
I talk to Carlos for a while, and we laughed a lot, he said the only down fall to his job was he smells really strong after work like roses and freshia, something a straight guy has a problem with, I think he must have a hard time going out after work smelling like that.We laughed, he agreed..
