William P. Miller is the owner of W.P. Miller and Associates, an event management firm as well as Elcenia’s Theme, which specializes in making handcrafted greeting cards, invitations and stationery. Both companies are based in Los Angeles.

      William began planning events as a volunteer.  He organized Los Angeles’ largest walk-a-thon in support of education for many years as well as the Lou Rawls Parade of Stars Telethon to support the United Negro College Fund.  Williams career came full circle in 2006 when he was asked to coordinate Lou Rawls’ funeral.  William solicited performances by Stevie Wonder, Joan Biaz, Della Reese and Andrae Crouche to name a few and. turned the homegoing ceremony into a fabulous testament to family, friendships and a celebration of the singer’s life. To make the day most special Elcenia’s theme designed the most amazing memorial tribute program to be used as a keepsake.  

      While attending California State University, Long Beach William worked for United Airlines.  Thus giving him the opportunity to travel the globe exploring fashion, customs and universal style.  It wasn’t long before his colleagues noticed his creativity.  To William’s benefit the airline enlisted him to organize company events and his co-workers hired him to plan retirement parties, birthday parties and weddings.  In his position as Concierge, he established relationships with many celebrities including Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Cindy Crawford, Michelle Kwan, Diana Ross and many, many others.  

      After planning many special occasions for co-workers and friends in Los Angeles, William finally got the chance to share his talent and passion with his family.  It was such an honor when his sister asked him to plan her wedding.  The ceremony was to be held shortly after their father’s death from cancer.  William wanted to make sure the wedding would make his families heart happy again and make his father smile down from the heavens.  The sky was the limit for this wedding..  William personally flew to Milan to select the fabric for her wedding gown.  He carefully chose each exotic flower, and interviewed numerous pastry chefs. The wedding featured a string orchestra and dove-release. William escorted his sister down the aisle.  The day far exceeded his expectations.  He was able to bring his entire family joy on one day. . It was that day William realized he too had found his destiny. 

      Since that day William has given a great joy to many.  Academy Award winning Actress Mira Sorvino, personally called William to design her wedding invitations.  Along with the groom, the three worked together to create the perfect announcement of their wedding, which was held on the island of Capri, Italy. 

      Actress Sheryl Lee Ralph officially coined William as her Wedding Producer.  He orchestrated her lavish ceremony to Pennsylvania’s State Senator, Vincent Hughes.  The wedding party included Singer Patti LaBelle and Actresses, Jenifer Lewis, Victoria Rowell, Niecy Nash, Loretta Devine, AJ Johnson Judge Mablean.  The event was featured on Entertainment Tonight and in several publications. 

      Grammy Award Winner song writer/composer, Jerry Peters called upon William to plan his wedding ceremony to his 55 year old first time Bridge, Ginger.  The event was spectacular and featured performances by Marilyn McCoo, Billy Davis and Ta-Ta Vega. 

      In addition to weddings, William has planned events from simple house warming parties to mega music festivals.  William’s versatility, creativity and ability to deliver his clients fantasy has made him one of the most sought after event producers in Los Angeles.

William P. Miller’s (aka W.P.) sense of style, fashion and etiquette has placed him among the higher echelon of special event producers and wedding planners worldwide.  His versatility and creativity enables him to organize a variety of social gatherings ranging from intimate receptions, fund-raising galas, corporate meetings and lavish celebrity weddings.  W.P. does it all with panache!

W.P. Miller earned a marketing degree from California State University Long Beach. Prior to his event planning career, W.P.worked as a Project Manager for United Airlines. He is also the owner of Elcenia’s Theme which specializes in custom invitations and greeting cards.
